Israeli professor discusses Palestinian conflict

Professor Arieh Saposnik — a historian of Zionism and Jewish nationalism who is an associate professor at the Ben-Gurion Research Institute for the Study of Israel and Zionism at Ben-Gurion University (BGU) of the Negev (Beersheba, Israel) — recently paid a visit to South Florida to give two lectures.


 

Saposnik came to BGU from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he was the Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation Chair in Israel Studies and an associate professor in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures. At UCLA, Saposnik also was the founding director of the Younes & Soraya Nazarian Center for Israel Studies.
